Submission Guidelines and Manuscript Preparation
The Journal of Advanced Pediatrics and Child Health (JAPCH) accepts high-quality submissions that comply with internationally recognized publication ethics and formatting standards.
1. Submission Overview
All manuscripts must be submitted through the online system at https://www.pediatricshealthjournal.com/submit. Submissions by email are not accepted. The corresponding author must create an account and monitor the review process through the dashboard.
2. Article Types
The following categories are accepted:
- Original Research Articles
- Review Articles and Systematic Reviews
- Case Reports and Case Series
- Short Communications
- Editorials, Letters to the Editor, and Commentaries
3. Pre-Submission Requirements
- Confirm that the manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
- Ensure ethical approval and informed consent are clearly documented.
- Prepare the manuscript according to the journal’s formatting style (see below).
- Check plagiarism using iThenticate or equivalent software.
4. Manuscript File Preparation
Prepare your manuscript using Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx). Include the following sections:
- Title Page
- Abstract and Keywords
- Main Text (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion)
- References
- Tables and Figures (with captions)
- Conflict of Interest and Funding Statements
5. Title Page
- Article Title (concise and descriptive)
- Author Names and Affiliations
- Corresponding Author’s Email and ORCID ID
- Running Title (maximum 50 characters)
6. Abstract and Keywords
Provide a structured abstract of 200–300 words with the following headings:
- Background
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion
Include 4–6 keywords relevant to the topic, separated by semicolons.
7. Main Text Format
The manuscript should be organized in the IMRaD structure:
- Introduction: State objectives and study rationale.
- Methods: Provide sufficient detail for reproducibility, including study design, participants, and analysis tools.
- Results: Present findings clearly, supported by figures and tables.
- Discussion: Interpret results, compare with existing literature, and discuss limitations.
- Conclusion: Summarize main findings and implications for pediatric health.
8. Figures and Tables
All figures should be uploaded as separate files in high-resolution (300 dpi or higher). Tables must be editable, not embedded as images. Each should include a concise title and explanatory footnote if needed.
9. References
Follow the Vancouver referencing style. Use Arabic numerals in brackets or superscript within text. The reference list should be formatted as follows:

10. Supplementary Materials
Authors may submit supplementary datasets, videos, or appendices. Each file must be clearly labeled and referenced in the main text.
11. Ethical and Legal Requirements
Authors must comply with ethical standards for clinical research. This includes IRB approval, informed consent from participants, and adherence to the Declaration of Helsinki.
12. Submission Checklist
- ✔ Complete author list and affiliations.
- ✔ Abstract and keywords included.
- ✔ Figures and tables uploaded separately.
- ✔ Ethical approval and funding disclosed.
- ✔ Plagiarism check completed (≤10% similarity).
13. Correspondence and Proofs
All communication will be directed to the corresponding author via email. Proofs must be reviewed and returned within 48 hours to avoid publication delays.
